Methods and methods of steroid injection

There are many precautions before steroid injection. This includes appropriate knowledge, appropriate preparations, appropriate sterility and appropriate environment.

Inadequate preparation or lack of understanding of appropriate procedures and techniques can lead to serious consequences, including inflammation, bacterial abscess and infection, scar tissue development, septic shock, muscle injury and nerve injury.

Improper sterility, such as reusing needles, sharing needles, and sterilizing needles by exposing them to flame or wiping them with alcohol (which should never be done), will increase the risk of bacterial transmission.

Serious blood borne infectious diseases, such as HIV / AIDS and hepatitis. In order to reduce the risk of injury, proper disposal is also imperative.

It is very important to follow all appropriate procedures and safety is very important for people engaged in steroid injection.

The following precautions should be observed at all times:

Before starting any cycle, make sure that all necessary supplies (syringes, needles, cotton swabs, etc.) are ready.

There is no excuse for not properly pre planning and obtaining all necessary quantities of syringes, needles and consumables before the beginning of the whole cycle.

Before starting the actual injection procedure, please ensure that all necessary supplies (syringes, pins, cotton swabs, etc.) are ready.

Before use, check and ensure that all syringes, pins and alcohol swabs are sealed. These medical items are sealed to ensure complete sterility.

Any form of packaging that tears, leaks, punctures or opens the packaging can be infected.

Any article that damages its air tightness in any way shall be properly handled and shall not be used under any circumstances.

Type of steroid injection:

intravenous injection

Under no circumstances should anabolic steroids be injected in this manner. As mentioned earlier, intravenous injection is directly injected into the vein or artery.

This is usually done in the brachial artery of the arm. Because anabolic steroids need to be injected intramuscularly, in order to outline the differences between different injection types, only intravenous injection will be briefly introduced here.

Intramuscular injection

This is the injection method of anabolic steroids. This is to inject oil-based preparation (most of the time) or water-based preparation deep into muscle tissue, so as to facilitate the stable release from the injection site to the blood through very small capillaries and veins.

This is the standard method for anabolic steroid injection in anabolic steroid users and medical institutions.

Intramuscular injection usually allows a larger volume of liquid to be injected into the site than any other method.

Various muscles used as injection sites can tolerate 4 – 5 ml of oil or water. Most muscles can comfortably hold 2 – 3ml of oil or water.

Subcutaneous injection (SQ)

This is an injection method that involves injecting a (mainly) water-based solution into adipose tissue under the skin.

An oil-based solution can also be injected here, but this is generally not recommended. Subcutaneous injection is mainly used for insulin, hGH (human growth hormone), hCG administration (human chorionic gonadotropin) and other peptides.

Subcutaneous injection is mostly used with water-based substances and requires a very small amount of substances (1ml or CC or less) because the subcutaneous injection site cannot comfortably contain a large amount of substances.

Water based and oil-based anabolic steroids can indeed be injected subcutaneously, but users must note that the amount of liquid contained in subcutaneous steroid injection is much less than that in intramuscular injection.

Studies have shown that stable plasma anabolic steroid plasma levels after subcutaneous administration are as effective as IM injection.
